CONSUMER BEHAVIOR
At the end I think the customer is going to buy the product and I think a a clever way of marketing is when the customer is at the cash register and you could offer something convenient for a good price and at the end they would think that they should get it since they are already there. If you could tell that the customer is thirsty then you could under stand that they would want a drink and if you have a freezer right next to you than you could offer them that drink which would the would buy.
People also set up businesses at places that people would buy products at like for example if you want to set up an Indian restaurant you would want to set it up where there are lots of Indian people because otherwise you will not get any business. You would have to make it cheap because in Newton there are not a lot of rich people there and maybe the occasional rich person would go there so you would have to have good prices. In some commercials they tell you that if you are hungry you don't need to eat a lot to fulfill yourself just eat a snickers which means if you are not full after one snickers you would buy one more until you are full. So right away if you are between lunch and dinner and you didn't have your lunch you think its almost dinner time and you just eat a snickers which is bad for you. They tell you that you won't get fat if you just snickers which would satisfy you. I think the definition of marketing is actually promoting and selling products from your business and able to get the customers attention easily if you have a good product.
